BARKER, LAURA BROOKS, 79, OF SEVEN MILE

BARKER, Laura Brooks, 79, of Seven Mile Ford, widow of Ora Barker, died Saturday, February 12, 1994 in Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, Va. Mrs. Barker was a member of the East End Baptist Church. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and Jerry Young of Seven Mile Ford, Frances and Bill Perkins of Troutdale; one son, Jimmy Barker of York, Pa.; one brother, Claude Brooks, Marion; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday, February 14, 1994 at Seaver-Brown Chapel with the Rev.Paul Jones and the Rev. Tim Boyette officiating. Burial will follow in Liberty Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Grant, Va. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday evening at Seaver-Brown Chapel. Arrangements by Seaver-Brown Funeral Service.
