HILLSVILLE LIKES ANTIQUES IDEA

Downtown Hillsville is taking a cue from the town of Pulaski and opening a number of antiques and collectibles stores on its Main Street.

One of the larger is Fluff's Mini-Mall, which rents space to dealers in the former Sears and Ben Franklin store. It opened in late 1993 and still has some spaces available to rent.

It offers booths for antiques, baseball and other cards, furniture, tools, toys, crafts, jewelry and other items for rent on a permanent or daily basis. Further information is available by calling 728-2622.

Hillsville also has opened a museum on the opposite side of the street, in the former town hall. Another store near the museum offers Western items and collectibles.
