OBIT FOSTER, CHARLES ELLER

FOSTER, Charles Eller, 60, of Rt. 1, Boones Mill, died Monday, February 14, 1994, at his residence. Mr. Foster retired from General Electric and was a long time farmer. He was a member of Germantown Brick Church of the Brethren and a former member of Blue Ridge Church of the Brethren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy M. and Ruby Eller Foster and is survived by his wife, Mandy Barnhart Foster, of the home; his son and daughter-in-law, Chris C. and Carolyn J. Foster, Rocky Mount; his grandchildren, Melissa and Matthew Foster; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Dale L. and Fran Foster, Salem, Samuel C. and Rita Foster, Blue Ridge; several nieces and nephews; a host of special friends, including Wayne E. Flora and Kurtis D. Flora. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, 11 a.m. in Germantown Brick Church of the Brethren with the Rev. Fred A. Driver and the Rev. Sylvus D. Flora officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Those desiring to, may make memorials to Germantown Brick Church of the Brethren for Mission and Ministry, c/o Rt. 1, Box 1950, Rocky Mount, Va. 24151. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Flora Funeral Service, 342 South Main St., Rocky Mount.
