OBIT PATE, GROVER FRANKLIN

PATE, Grover Franklin, 77, of Boones Mill, died Tuesday, February 15, 1994. Surviving are his wife, Allie W. Pate; sons and daughters-in-law, Grover, Jr. and Mary Ann Pate; Richard and Judy Pate all of Roanoke, Leonard Pate, Tommy and Kim Pate all of Tampa, Fla., Cecil Pate, Boones Mill; two sisters, Myrtle Durham, Boones Mill and Cora Johnson, Callaway; also surviving are five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at Boones Mill Baptist Church noon Thursday, February 17, 1994, with the Rev. James Steele officiating. Interment to follow in Pate Family Cemetery, Boones Mill. Friends may call at Lotz Roanoke Chapel.
