OBIT O'CONNOR, JOHN D. SR.

O'CONNOR, John D. Sr., 68, of Floyd, passed away Monday, February 14, 1994, in a Radford Hospital. He is survived by his wife, Lorice Smith O'Connor; two sons and one daughter-in-law, John D. Jr. and Karen O'Connor, Andrew M. O'Connor; one daughter, Laurel E. O'Connor; one sister and brother-in-law, Elizabeth and George Kangas; one brother, Thomas O'Connor; one nephew and two nieces. Funeral services will be Thursday February 16, 1994, at 11:00 a.m. at Gardner Funeral Home with Father Tom Magri officiating. Interment will follow in Jacksonville Cemetery, Floyd. Friends may call after 1 p.m. Wednesday at Gardner Funeral Home, where the family will be from 7 to 9 p.m.
