SYMPOSIUM PLANNED ON HERITAGE DISTRICTS

The Department of Landscape Architecture at Virginia Tech will hold a Heritage Partnership Symposium Thursday-Saturday Feb. 17-19 to address the need to recognize and preserve heritage areas.

David P. Hill of Roanoke will deliver the keynote address, "Past Experiments with Heritage Districts in Southwest Virginia," on Friday, Feb. 18 7:30-8:30 p.m. at Colonial Hall on the second floor of Squires Student Center.

A traveling museum exhibit titled "Threading a Parkway through the Blue Ridge" will be on display at the Virginia Tech Museum of Natural History, 428 N. Main St., from Friday Feb. 18 through March 4.
