FESTIVAL IN PARK TO GIVE 3 ARTS SCHOLARSHIPS

Roanoke Festival in the Park is accepting applications for college scholarships to three students who intend to major in the arts.

The scholarships of $1,000, $750 and $500 for each year in college will be awarded to high school seniors or college freshmen.

Deadline is April 15, and applications are available through Roanoke-area high school art, English, drama or music departments. Applications can also be received by mail by calling 342-2640.
