Matt Woolwine scored 26 points as the Spartans clinched the Blue Ridge District regular-season title with a rout of the Wildcats.
Mark Byington and Nathan Routt added 18 points each for Salem (16-1, 9-0). Byington hit four 3-pointers and Kevin Garst (11 points) made three.
Marty Early scored 12 points to lead Rockbridge County (6-11, 0-9), which was outscored 41-10 in the second half.

NEW CASTLE - Robby Huffman scored big from the free-throw line for the Rockets, and the result was a Pioneer District victory over the Knights in overtime.
Huffman was 15-of-17 from the line, including 6-of-7 in overtime, as Craig County (5-7, 4-5) hit 10 of 14 in the extra period.
Huffman finished with 23 points and a school-record 25 rebounds.
James River (3-13, 2-9) led by as many as 12 points in the third period, but the Rockets stormed back with their trapping defense. Down three points with seven seconds remaining, Huffman was fouled beyond the 3-point line. He sank all three free throws to send the game into the extra period.
