OBIT SMITH, SYLVIA FAYE

SMITH, Sylvia Faye, 67, of Roanoke, died Tuesday, February 15, 1994. She was a native of West Virginia, and is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael S. and Joanna Smith, Mechanicsville, David B. and Eva Smith, Roanoke, six grandchildren; two brothers, Curtis Bare, North Carolina, Randy Bare, Florida. Funeral services will be conducted from the graveside, Sherwood Burial Park, at 2 p.m. Thursday, with Dr. David L. Henderson officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Central Baptist Church (5656 Starkey Road, Roanoke, VA 24014). Arrangements by Oakey's Roanoke Chapel.
