OBIT COX, AMON GARMAN

COX, Amon Garman, 79, of Star Route, Radford, passed away Wednesday, February 16, 1994, at Radford Community Hospital. Survivors include wife, Gladie Phillips Cox, Radford; four sons and daughters-in-law, Lacie and Phyllis Cox, Waitman and Patricia Cox both of Radford, Eldridge and Mary Cox, Willis, Payton and Judy Cox, Christiansburg; three daughters and sons-in-law, Ruth and Eugene Quesenberry, Willis, Noble and Bobby Phillips, Christiansburg, Gayle and Ross Warren, Floyd; one sister, Mrs. Hasker Duncan, Alum Ridge; 15 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Indian Valley Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. Joe Cox officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Maberry Funeral Home, Floyd.
