OBIT HARDY, ANNE BUCHANAN

HARDY, Anne Buchanan, of Fine Creek Mill, Powhatan County, Va., died February 16, 1994. She is survived by her husband, Edward Nash Hardy, Jr; her brother, Hughes Buchanan of Saltville, Va; five sisters, Helen Dunbar Slaughter of Culpeper, Va., Evelyn Preston and Barbara Ruth Buchanan, both of Richmond, Va., Eleanor Foster and Mary Katharine Keesee, both of Roanoke; several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Hardy was the daughter of the late John Edward and Ada Coulthard Buchanan of Saltville, Va. Mrs. Hardy was an active member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church, Powhatan Va. Friends may call at the Central Chapel of the Bennett Funeral Home, 3215 Cutshaw Avenue, Richmond, Va., on Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, Fine Creek Mill, Powhatan, at 11 am Friday with the Rev. Lawrence Mason officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. It is requested that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to St. Luke's Episcopal Church, Powhatan, Va.
