SPECIAL OLYMPICS BASKETBALL SATURDAY

Area Nine Special Olympics will hold their Winter Basketball Invitational on Saturday Feb. 19 at the War Memorial Gym at Virginia Tech, beginning at 8:30 a.m.

More than 150 athletes will be competing in full and half court games and individual skill events. The opening ceremony begins around 10:15 a.m.

The public is encouraged to come cheer or volunteer throughout the day. For more information, 231-3122.
