DAVIDIANS DON'T TESTIFY; CULT TRIAL DEFENSE RESTS

Attorneys for 11 Branch Davidians charged with murdering federal agents rested their case after a day and a half of testimony Thursday without calling any cult members.

"There is no need to put your defendant on the witness stand unless you want to prove something," said defense lawyer Steven Rosen. "When you are accused of a crime in this country, you are under no burden of proof." -
