OBIT DECICCO, LIZZIE PADGETT

DeCICCO, Lizzie Padgett, 91, of 1404 Longwood Avenue, Bedford, died Monday, February 14, 1994 in Oakwood Manor. She was born in Bedford County on May 3, 1902, a daughter of the late Roger Booker Padgett and Bettie Elizabeth Abbott Padgett. She was a member of Timber Ridge Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Rocco DeCicco, her sons, Joseph DeCicco and Angelo R. DeCicco and her granddaughter, Gina Marie Frost. She is survived by a son, A. R. "Jack" DeCicco of Alton, Ill.; two daughters, Angelena S. Kraft of Hamilton, Ohio and Marie E. Hammerle of Bedford; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 19, 1994 at the Carder-Tharp Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. James G. Whitt officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Carder-Tharp Funeral Home and other times at the residence.
