OBIT TAYLOR, KIRTMAN DEE

TAYLOR, Kirtman Dee, 60, of Christiansburg, died suddenly Wednesday, February 16, 1994, at Montgomery Regional Hospital Mr. Taylor was born in Roanoke, Virginia on September 23, 1933, a son of the late Kirtman Dee, Sr. and Izetta Elizabeth Taliafero Taylor. He attended Bluefield State College, Howard University, Washington, D.C. and was a honor graduate from New River Community College. Mr. Taylor was a retired employee of R.A.A.P. Surviving are his, Carolyn Rose Taylor; his stepmother, Blanche Taylor; three daughters; one son; one granddaughter; four aunts; two uncles. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, February 19, 1994, at McCoy Funeral Home Chapel, Blacksburg, with the Rev. Nathaniel T. Perkins officiating. A private graveside service will follow at 2:30 p.m. in the William Memorial Park, Roanoke, Va. The family will receive friends Friday from 7 to 8 p.m. at McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
