OBIT LOTTS, RUTH MOORE

LOTTS, Ruth Moore, 73, of Glasgow, died Thursday, February 17, 194 at the home of her daughter in Stuarts Draft. Born in Buena Vista on August 28, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Virgil and Birdie Dod Moore. She was a bookkeeper/secretary for Rockbridge Heating and Air Conditioning in Buena Vista and a member of Buena Vista Presbyterian Church. She is survived by a daughter, Ellen Lotts Clouse, Stuarts Draft; two sons and daughters-in-law, William Thomas and Anneliese Lotts, Glasgow, and David Carl and Nancy W. Lotts, Blacksburg; one sister, Mrs. R. T. (Violet) Vest, Roanoke; five grandchildren, Charlie Clouse, Sabrina Lotts, Katarina Lotts, Matthew Lotts and Elizabeth Lotts. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, February 20, 1994, at Buena Vista Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Marc Sherrod and Dr. Roy Creech and the Rev. Kevin Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Green Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 pm.. Saturday at Lomax Funeral Home.
