MENTAL HEALTH GROUP HOLDS OPEN HOUSE

The Mental Health Association of the New River Valley will host an open house on Sunday, Feb. 20, 2-5 p.m., in its new location, 205 W. Main St., office 3.

The organization, formerly the Mental Health Association of Montgomery County, has expanded to serve the entire New River Valley. Volunteer staff members promote community education and information about all types of mental illness. They provide a referral service and advocate improved mental health services on state and national levels.
