MAN KILLED WHEN BULLDOZER OVERTURNS

A West Virginia man was killed Wednesday evening when a bulldozer he was driving overturned in Giles County.

State police said William Dean Jennings, 41, of Princeton, was attempting to back a 12-ton bulldozer onto a trailer when the accident occurred. The trailer had ice and snow on it and the bulldozer slipped off the side. Jennings fell out of the driver's seat and the bulldozer rolled on top of him.

The accident occurred at about 6:30 p.m. on Virginia 647 in the Powell Mountain section of Giles County.
