OBIT--WEBB, ELMER

WEBB, Elmer, 82, of S. Main Street, Hillsville, passed away Thursday, February 17, 1994, at his residence. He was born in Carroll County, March 21, 1911, a son of the late William Floyd and Martha Ellen Cox Webb. He is survived by his wife, Mae Harris Webb; son and daughter-in-law, William Blaine and Carolyn Webb, Manassas; daughter and son-in-law, Mary Anna and Marshall Turner, Marion; three grandchildren, Kevin Lewis Turner, Heather Webb, Lara Webb. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, February 20, 1994, at the Hillsville First United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Nathan Malone officiating. Interment will follow in the Bobbitt Cemetery. Military rites will be conducted at the graveside by the Hillsville V.F.W. Post #1115. The family will receive friends Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel, Hillsville.
