Because an editorial assistant had incomplete information, a tip in Friday's New River Current about disposing of brush from the recent ice storm was inaccurate. Residents who burn brush should call their local police department or sheriff's office to inform officials of the location and time for the controlled burning. Dispatchers there will pass the information along to local fire departments.
