OWEN-MCDANIEL

The marriage of Carol Elaine McDaniel of Richmond, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Ellis McDaniel, Sr., of Roanoke, to Richard Gaillard Owen, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Godwin Owen of Ashland, took place February 19, in Bon Air Christian Church.

The Rev. Cynthia Stratton officiated. Mrs. Judith Pryor of Winston-Salem was her sister's matron of honor. G. Lee Wilkinson, Jr., of Richmond was best man.

The reception was held at Willow Oaks Country Club.

Following a wedding trip to Anguilla, the couple will live in Ashland.
