MAY-BLANKENSHIP

Mary Lupton Blankenship and Barry Richard May were married January 29, 1994, at the Vinton War Memorial with Reverend Billy White officiating.

The bride was escorted by Todd Blankenship, her son. The bride's attendants were Mary Alice Whisenant and Leta Gillespie, friends of the bride. The best man was Paul T. May, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Edward "Buck" Whisenant and Reggie Gillespie, friends of the bride and groom.

The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Virginia Lupton and the late Mr. Ogden B. Lupton of Front Royal, Virginia. She is employed by Dr. William M. Martin.

The groom is the son of the late Beulah G. Figgatt of Roanoke. He is President of Basic Estate Service.

The newlyweds are at home in Roanoke after a cruise to Cozumel, Mexico.
