OBIT TEAFORD, JOHN LARUE
TEAFORD, John Larue, 81, of Lexington, died Friday, February 18, 1994 in
Stonewall Jackson Hospital. Born October 19, 1912, in Rockbridge County, he
was the son of the late Frank Blair and Neola Cunningham Teaford. He was a
life long member of Kerrs Creek Baptist Church, a veteran of World War II and
was a retired lineman for Virginia Power. Surviving are two brothers, Henry
George Teaford, Americus, Ga., Thomas Blair Teaford, Napa, Calif.; 17 nieces
and nephews and several great-nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be
conducted Monday, February 21, 1994, at 1 p.m. from the graveside at Greenhill
Cemetery, Buena Vista, with the Rev. Will Hamric officiating. The family will
receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Harrison Funeral Home.
