OBIT--DEVAULT, VIVIAN CARROLL

DEVAULT, Vivian Carroll, 79, of Marion, widow of Colonel Charles Cooper DeVault, died Sunday, February 20, 1994, in Smyth County Community Hospital. Mrs. DeVault was a member of the Smyth County Community Hospital Auxiliary and the First United Methodist Church. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Tuesday, February 22 at 11 a.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Dr. J.N. Howard and the Rev. Pam Rhodes officiating. Burial will follow in the Holston Conference Cemetery in Emory, Va. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Smyth County Community Hospital Auxiliary, 700 Park Boulevard, Marion, Va. 24354. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 7 until 8 at Seaver-Brown Chapel. Seaver-Brown Funeral Service is in charge of the arrangements.
