OBIT REYNOLDS, DORA HUNT
REYNOLDS, Dora Hunt, 95, of Bedford, formerly of 228 St. Augustine Street,
Lynchburg, died Saturday, February 19, 1994, in Oakwood Manor, Bedford. She
was the wife of the late Sidney V. Reynolds. Born in Franklin County, she was
a daughter of the late John Henry Hunt and the late Lucy Eddy Hunt. Mrs.
Reynolds was a retired employee of the Lynchburg Hosiery Mill and a member of
Euclid Christian Church of Lynchburg. She is survived by a son, Linwood B.
Reynolds and his wife, Minnie S. Reynolds of Roanoke; a daughter, Alice R.
Mahone of Bedford; a sister, Lucy P. Hunt of Bedford; a daughter-in-law,
Connie F. Reynolds of Lynchburg; 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, James V. Reynolds. A graveside service
will be conducted Monday, 3 p.m. in Virginia Memorial Park by the Rev. Edward
Parrish III. The family will receive friends today from 3 to 5 at Whitten
Timberlake Chapel, 7404 Timberlake Road, Lynchburg, and at other times at the
home of her daughter, 1437 Belmont Drive, Bedford.
