Because of a copy editor's error, the Region III boys' basketball tournament and Martinsville were placed in the wrong district in a column Monday previewing this week's high school tournaments. They are in the Piedmont District.

The site of the Blue Ridge District boys' basketball tournament, which starts tonight, was listed incorrectly in Monday's sports Scoreboard. The tournament will be played at the Salem Civic Center.

A chart Monday showing the competing House and Senate versions of the 1994-96 state budget inadvertently omitted some proposed appropriations for projects in the Roanoke Valley.

The two-year recommendations, and how much is included in the House version and the Senate version, are: Science Museum of Western Virginia, $642,000 and $892,044; Virginia Museum of Transportation, $400,000 and $80,000; Explore Park, $800,000 and $1 million.
