OBIT HAMBRICK, LEONARD ROBERT

HAMBRICK, Leonard Robert, 80, of Roanoke, passed away Monday, February 21, 1994. He was a retired engineer with N & W Railroad and a member of New Life Temple Church. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Edith Daniel Hambrick; daughter, Lovella Gardner; son and daughter-in-law, Robert W. and Rosemary Hambrick; sisters, Blanche Hudgins, Thelma Green, Helen Gearhart and Ellen Williams; grandsons, Kirk Gibson and wife Judy, Brandon Gibson and wife Kathleen, Stephen Hambrick and Todd Gibson; granddaughter, Kimberleigh Lam and husband, Michael; three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 12 noon Wednesday February 23, 1994 at New Life Temple Church, with the Rev. Walter Wood officiating. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 9 a.m until 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Arrangements by Lotz Funeral Home, Salem.
