OBIT SAUNDERS, PAUL

SAUNDERS, Paul, 76, of Salem, died Monday, February 21, 1994, in a Salem hospital. He was retired from Days Inn. He is survived by his wife, Nan Terena Saunders; stepson and wife, Donald W. and Nancy Deyerle, Salem; one brother, Marshall H. Saunders, Chesapeake; three sisters, Frances S. Chamberlain, Winston-Salem, N.C., Virginia S. Harris, Roanoke, Ethel L. Saunders, Roanoke; three granddaughters, Donna Jones, Tobie Cruff, Lisa Proffitt; three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 23, 1994, at 10 a.m. at the Lotz Salem Chapel with the Rev. Billy White officiating. Interment will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Lotz Salem Chapel.
