OBIT MORGAN, WILLIAM DENNIS

MORGAN, William Dennis, ("Bill"), 50, of Wytheville, and formerly of Radford, died Monday, February 21, 1994 in the Wythe County Community Hospital. He was a 1961 graduate of Radford High School, 1971 graduate of VPI in Accounting, was Office Manager for R.E. Phillippi, Inc. from 1972-1979. At present he was the Owner and Operator of the Morgan Data Company, Inc. From 1986 to 1993 he was the coach for the George Wythe High Golf Team, former member of Board of Directors and Treasurer of Wytheville Golf Club, and Life Master of Duplicate Bridge and a member of the Wytheville Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Janet Parrish Morgan of Wytheville; two daughters, Mary Elizabeth Morgan, Susan Paige Morgan, both of Wytheville; one brother Jerry Douglas Morgan of Arlington, Texas; two special cousins, Genevive Morgan, Mary Jane Dudley; one nephew and six nieces. Funeral services will be Friday, February 25, 1994 at 2 p.m. in the Wytheville Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Dr. Barry W. Losey with the interment to follow in the West End Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Wytheville Baptist Church Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Wytheville Baptist Church or to the George Wythe High Golf Team. The Grubb Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
