Moss in the New River Valley, the local chapter of the national P. Buckley Moss Society, recently contributed $1,326 to the Family Resource Center in Wytheville and $350 to the National American Red Cross Midwestern Flood Relief Fund.

The main purpose of the organization, said president Angie Hall of Radford is to raise money for children's causes that Pat Moss supports. Hall is responsible for communications with Moss, organizing her local appearances and coordinating the raffle efforts for Moss prints. C & S Galleries of Dublin donates materials and labor for matting and framing.

There are about 60 members in the New River Valley. The fund raising efforts "give people a chance to get together and see and talk about Moss art," stated Hall. For more information on Moss in the New River Valley, call Hall at 633-2587.
