HOT SPRINGS - The Chargers made 56.5 percent of their field-goal attempts in a Pioneer District tournament quarterfinal win over the Rockets.
Bath County (11-9), seeded fourth, plays top-seeded Parry McCluer Friday at Lord Botetourt High School. Billy Thomas led the Chargers with 18 points, and Kris Phillips and Patrick Lennon each scored 14.
Craig County (5-11) turned the ball over 22 times, and Bath County committed a season-low two turnovers. Robby Huffman led Craig County with 16 points.

LYNCHBURG - Amherst County rallied in the fourth quarter to knock off Staunton River in the quarterfinals of the Seminole District tournament at Liberty University's Vines Center.
Scott Christian scored eight of his 13 points in the fourth period as Amherst County outscored Staunton River 16-3 to notch the come-from-behind victory. Camm Jackson made five of seven free-throw attempts in the fourth quarter for the Lancers.
