OBIT WRIGHT, ARCHIE KENNETH

WRIGHT, Archie Kenneth, ("Kent"), 87, of Catawba, died Tuesday, February 22, 1994. He is survived by a son, Shirley Kipps, Roanoke; two grandsons, Shirley Kipps Jr. and Michael Brandon; a brother, Milton Wright of Roanoke; three sisters, Mary Bohon, Beulah Cawley, Cellus Manspile, all of Salem; several nieces and nephews including Janie Angel of Salem. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday at the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home Chapel, Salem, with the Rev. Mike Derflinger officiating. Interment will follow in Cedar Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Catawba Mason Cove Rescue Squad, Salem, Va. 24153. The family will receive friends at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Wednesday.
