HAIRSTON, Howard, ("Happy"), 60, of Roanoke, passed away Thursday, February 24, 1994. Survivors include his wife, Norma Dean Hairston; two sons, Howard Hairston Jr., Timothy Lyndale Hairston; one daughter and son-in-law, Cordelia Denise and Dana Louis Stith, all of Roanoke; two sisters, Juanita Smith, New York City, Marion Tyson, Philadelphia, Pa.; brother, Rosavelt Hairston Sr., Brooklyn, N.Y.; eight grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.
