OBIT ROSS, FRANCES RAGLAND

ROSS, Frances Ragland, 83, of Roanoke, died Tuesday, February 22, 1994. Mrs. Ross was a member of Cave Spring United Methodist Church. She was a member of Electa Chapter #33 O.E.S. She was a retired hostess for the Mick-or-Mack stores with 21 years service. Mrs. Ross was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters, Leonard Cavel Ragland, Delmar Winston Ragland, Richard Lewis Ragland, Edna Opal Davis and Nelda Daphine Orr and is survived by her husband, Harold Ross, presently of Union Hall; her children and their spouses, Romer W. and Dorothy Darnell Jr., Union Hall, Nancy Delores and Daniel Moncol, Garner, N.C., Mary Jane and Frank Reid, Salisbury, N.C., nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at Lotz Roanoke Chapel noon Saturday, February 26, 1994, with the Rev. William Logan officiating. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Lotz Roanoke Chapel 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday.
