Gunn, Roanoke, Linda Whitlock, Alexandria, Wanda Bunch, Tampa, Fla., Warren Whitlock, Brooklyn, N.Y., Marlene Peterson, Tampa, Fla., Quay Whitlock, New York, N.Y., Kendal Whitlock, South Orange, N.J.; four great-grandchildren, Shanta Carter, Tampa, Fla., Tamika Gunn and Edward (Trey) Gunn, both of Roanoke, Michael Peterson, Tampa, Fla.; one great-great-granddaughter, Arnisha Carter, Tampa, Fla.; one brother-in-law, Leonard Helms Sr., Washington, D.C.; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
