OBIT WILLIAMSON, RUTH ISABELL

WILLIAMSON, Ruth Isabell ("Issy"), 52 of Christiansburg, died Wednesday, February 23, 1994 in Radford Community Hospital. She was a librarian with the Montgomery County School System for the past twenty three years. Surviving are her husband James R. Williamson, Jr.; one son, Robby Williamson, Christiansburg; a daughter and so-in-law, Diann & Marc Eaton, Riner; one granddaughter, Eliza Eaton, Riner; her mother, ruth Littleton, Grayson, Ky.; four sisters, Sue Sparks, New Lebanon, Ohio, Janet Buck, Barbara Marshall, Linda Arnett, all of Grayson, Ky; her father-in-law, James Williamson, Sr.; numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, February 26, at St. Paul United Methodist Church conducted by the Rev. Douglas Kanney. In lieu of flowers the family sincerely requests memorials be made to the Christiansburg Elementary School Library, Wades Lane, Christiansburg, Va. 24073 or the Christiansburg Branch of the Montgomery/Floyd Regional Library, 125 Sheltman Street, Christiansburg, Va. 24073. The family will receive friends in the Fellowship Hall of St. Paul United Methodist Church following the service on Saturday. Arrangements are being handled by Richardson-Horne Funeral Home.
