OBIT SHULL, HARLEY RAY

SHULL, Harley Ray, 63, of 120 S. Lynnhaven Drive, Staunton, died Thursday morning, February 24, 1994, in King's Daughters' Hospital. Mr. Shull was born February 24, 1931 in Augusta County a son of Gladys Sheetz Shull and the late William Joseph Shull. He was educated in the Augusta County Schools and at Bridgewater College. Mr. Shull was employed by International Business Machines as a Senior Customer Engineer. He was a member of Staunton Church of the Brethren and Beverly Manor Ruritan Club. Surviving in addition to his mother who live in Bridgewater, are his wife, Eloise Whitmer Shull; tow children, R. Alan Shull of Staunton and Doris S. Duff or Roanoke; two sisters, Mary S. Simmons of Bridgewater and Eunice S. Braun of Fairfax; six nieces. A memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday in Staunton Church of the Brethren conducted by the Revs. Jerry Ruff and Harold W. Campbell. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends at home and at the church following the memorial service. It is requested that flowers be omitted. Memorials may be made to Staunton Church of the Brethren, 1615 N. Coalter Street, Staunton, Va. 24401 or to the Memorial Trust Fund of Staunton-Augusta Rescue Squad, 1601 N. Coalter Street, Staunton, Va. 24401. Hambrick Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
