ANDERSON-DENNIS

Christine Desma Dennis and Matthew James Anderson were married December 18, 1993, at Raleigh Church of Christ in Memphis, Tenn., officiated by Chris Dempsey. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Dennis of Vinton, Va. She is a graduate of Staunton River High School in Moneta, Va., and received a Bachelor's degree in Social Work at Freed Hardeman University in Henderson, Tenn. She is pursuing a Master's degree in Social Work at the University of Tennessee in Memphis. She was escorted by her father. The maid of honor was Linda Woodward of Alabama. Bridesmaids were Lisa Davis, Erica Thompson, and Danita Anderson. Flowergirls was Paige Neely. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Anderson of Memphis, Tenn. He is a graduate of Harding Academy in Memphis and received a Business degree from Freed Hardeman University inHenderson, Tenn. The best man was Rick Jeffries of Daytona, Fla. Ushers wereDavid Edwards and John Dismukes. Groomsmen were P.J. Jeffries, Chad Phillips, and David Jackson. He isemployed in Memphis, Tenn. The couple enjoyed a Western Caribbean Cruise and are now residing in Memphis, Tenn.
