DEMAURICE-STAMUS

Stephanie Paula Stamus and Andre Steven DeMaurice were married February 26, 1994 in Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church by Rev. Nicholas Bacalis. The reception was held at the Marriott Grand Ballroom. The maid of honor was Annette Stamus, sister of the bride. The matron of honor was Melanie Mandros, sister of the bride. The bridesmaids were Maria Stamus, cousin of the bride, Angela Vames, cousin of the bride and Paula Cunningham, friend of the bride. The flowergirl was Megan Ranio, cousin of the groom. The best man was Wallace DeMaurice, father of the groom. The ushers were Matthew Mandros, brother-in-law of the bride, Ralph Kopera, Bennie Register, William Sneed and David Stocker, all friends of the groom. Crownbearer was Alan Ranio, cousin of the groom. The guestbook was attended by Angela Flegas and Jackie Radford. The bride is a daughter of JoAnne V. Stamus and the late Paul Stamus of Roanoke, Va. She is a graduate of Northside High School and Radford University. The bride is an optician with Optical World Optometrists. The bridegroom, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wallace H. DeMaurice of Cape Hatteras, N.C., is a graduate of Cape Hatteras High School and North Carolina State University. He is employed by General Electric as a Software Design Engineer. The newlyweds will live in Roanoke, Va. after the wedding trip to Grand Cayman Island.
