The matron of honor was Dana Staton, sister of the bride. The maid of honor was Mary Harris, friend of the bride. The bridesmaids were April Burger, Tina Roberts, and Melissa Wright, friends of the bride. The flowergirl was JessieJennings, stepsister of the groom. The best man was Jerome Henderlite, brother of the groom. The ushers were JasonAkers, Stephan King, Edward Switzer, and Kevin Vess, friends of the groom. The bride wore a Romance satin gown with embroidered lace and sequins. The gown had a v-neckline with long sleeves and a basque waist. The skirt had a back peplum with a semi-cathedral train which was heavily hand beaded including the hemline.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Thomas Barnard of Roanoke, Va. She is a graduate of Northside High School and is employed by BellSouth Communication Systems. The groom is the son of Ms. Carolyn Henderlite of Vinton, Va., and Mrs. James D. Henderlite of Roanoke, Va. He is a graduate of William Byrd High School and is employed by First Union National Bank of Virginia. The newlyweds will live in Roanoke, after their honeymoon to Las Vegas, Nevada.
