MAGNA VISTA ROLLS TO PIEDMONT TITLE

Magna Vista outscored Fieldale-Collinsville 18-6 in the fourth quarter to grab a 61-45 victory in the Piedmont District tournament championship game Saturday.

Marcus Toney and Tony Holmes led the Warriors (16-5) with 15 points apiece. Magna Vista and regular-season champion Martinsville advance to the Region III tournament.

Fieldale-Collinsville trailed 43-39 after three quarters, but the Warriors' big fourth quarter broke open the game. Chad Cobb and Shane Donevant each scored 15 for the the Cavaliers. \
