ARTS GRANTS TO BE GIVEN|

Roanoke Festival in the Park will award three scholarships to graduating high school seniors or college freshmen who are planning further studies in the arts.

Awards of $1,000, $750 and $500 for each year of higher education will be awarded, depending on the winners' year in school.

Applicants must live within a 100-mile radius of Roanoke. If they are attending college outside that region, their parents must reside within it. The application deadline is April 15. Call 342-2640 to receive an application.
