TWO TICKETS SPLIT $3.3 MILLION LOTTO

Two people, including one who bought a ticket in Pearisburg, matched all six numbers to split a $3.3 million Lotto jackpot, a Virginia Lottery spokeswoman said Sunday.

The numbers drawn Saturday night were 1, 3, 6, 16, 20, and 31.

In addition to the ticket sold in Giles County, a winning ticket was sold at Concord in Campbell County, lottery spokeswoman Paula Otto said.

The winners will each receive about $1.65 million, or approximately $56,000 a year after taxes for 20 years, Otto said.

The estimated jackpot for Wednesday's Lotto drawing is $1 million.

For matching five of Saturday's six numbers, 105 people won $647 each, Otto said. Prizes of $37 went to 3,807 players who picked four winning numbers, while 55,498 people won a free play for choosing three of the six numbers. - Associated Press
