ROCKETS WIN BIDDY BASKETBALL TITLE

Sean Biewlawski scored 16 points as the Williamson Road Recreation Club Rockets rolled past the WRRC Lakers 42-30 for the Biddy League basketball championship.

Keith Brammer had 12 points and Chris Salter added 10 for the Rockets, who downed Heights Club Blue 36-19 in a semifinal.

Kyle Allen scored 20 points for the Lakers and Matthew Montgomery added 10. The Lakers beat the Wilmont Bulls 30-26 in the other semifinal.

The WRRC Sixers defeated the Vinton Hokies 48-43 for the Midget Division championship. Jason Salter scored 25 points and Tyler Lumsden added 19. The Sixers downed the Vinton Monarchs 50-16 in a semifinal.

Matthew Ashby had 22 points for the Hokies, who beat the Cave Spring Pacers 46-27.
