OBIT MAGERKURTH, CHARLES RAYMOND
MAGERKURTH, Charles Raymond, ("Mager"), 77, of Roanoke, died Saturday,
February 26, 1994, at his home. He was an Army veteran of World War II and was
retired from Nehl Bottling company. Mr. Magerkurth was an active member of
American Legion Post 3. Surviving are his wife, Ada Holloway Magerkurth; a son
and daughter-in-law, Roger and Susan Magerkurth; daughter and son-in-law, Jane
M. and P. Thomas Omer; four grandchildren, Lindsey, Dallas and David
Magerkurth; Carol Omer all of Roanoke; a sister, Evelyn Anderson, Lake Worth,
Fla. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday from Oakey's South
Chapel with the Rev. Mark Wm. Radecke officiating. Interment will follow in
Evergreen Burial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the Raleigh Court
Presbyterian Church Pre-School (1837 Grandin Road S.W., Roanoke, Va 24015) or
a favorite charity. Friends may call at Oakey's South Chapel, where the family
will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday.
