PSYCHOLOGY DEPARTMENT PLANS 3 COLLOQUIA

The Virginia Tech psychology department will sponsor three colloquia in April. All programs start at 4 p.m. in 2030 Pamplin Hall. These colloquia are free and open to the public:

Today, David Lewkowicz of the Institute for Developmental Research and Disabilities will speak on "The Psychological Present and its Implications for the Development of Intersensory Perception."

April 8, Jack Finney of Virginia Tech will present "Psychological Determinants of Children's Health Care Use."

April 15, Roy Baumeister of Case Western Reserve University will discuss "Defense Mechanisms for Self-Esteem: Self-Regulation, Repression, Rationalization and Temporal Bracketing."
