The Art Museum of Western Virginia will exhibit ``From Mardi Gras to Manhattan: The Abstract Expressionist Works of Fritz Bultman'' on April 30-July 10.
A symposium on ``The Irascible Fritz Bultman'' will be led by historian Irving Sandler, Jeanne Bultman, the artist's widow, and Harry Rand, curator of the 20th-century painting and sculpture at the National Museum of American Art, on April 30 from 3:30-5:30 p.m.
A reception for the exhibit follows from 6-8 p.m. in the first floor galleries of the museum in Center in the Square in Roanoke.
Reproductions exhibit planned
The Roanoke Valley History Museum is planning an exhibit of antique reproductions made by Clifton Forge railroader J.E. ``Ed'' Hall Jr. for April 19 through May 30.
However, more pieces are needed for the exhibit.
The museum seeks, especially, pieces Hall made when he lived in Greenville between 1930-1945.
If you have pieces you wish to loan the museum for the exhibit, call Keith Hall, son of the furniture maker, at 345-9754.

Auditions will be at the Showtimers studio on McVitty Road in Roanoke.
