PREPS CAVE SPRING ROLLS OVER E.C. GLASS

Cave Spring banged out 14 hits en route to a 15-3 high school baseball victory over visiting E.C. Glass (3-2).

Kevin Davis was 3-for-4, Robert Kaczmareck was 2-for-4 and David Dunston had four RBI for the Knights (2-2). Michael Price (1-0) was the winning pitcher.

At Shawsville, Tony Maxey went 3-for-3 and Mark Akers was 2-for-3 with two RBI as the Shawnees pounded Rocky Gap 11-2 in baseball. Jason Smith (2-0) was the winning pitcher for Shawsville (4-1). Quinton Slaughter was 3-for-3 and drove in both runs for Rocky Gap (0-1).
