Charter Federal Savings Bank said Monday the Office of Thrift Supervision has terminated the remaining provisions of its 1991 supervisory agreement with the Bristol-based thrift.
Charter Federal achieved compliance with all capital requirements with the infusion of the net proceeds of its stock rights offering completed Aug. 13, 1993. President C.R. McCullar said Charter Federal is now considered to be ``well-capitalized'' by regulatory standards.

Bank donates to Roanoke Habitat
The Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta has contributed a $70,000 subsidy toward a 14-home development by Habitat for Humanity in the Roanoke Valley Inc. The money was channeled through First Union National Bank of Virginia, which did the paperwork.
Bank spokeswoman Jane Henderson said the subsidy came through the Atlanta bank's affordable-housing program. The total cost of the project, including the subsidy, is $535,000.
The 14 homes will be built on Kellogg Avenue Northwest, just off 10th Street near Interstate 581. Henderson said Habitat expects to have all 14 under roof in a single day in June.
