The Patriots (1-3 overall, 1-0 in the district) trailed 7-6 going into the seventh and scored two runs off losing pitcher Al Holland Jr. (0-1). Chip Smallwood (1-2) shut down Fleming in the bottom of the inning and earned the win.
Mike McMahon and Richard Mason had three hits each for PH and Jason Depui added two.
Holland had two triples for the Colonels (1-3, 0-2). Mike Souma and Brian Short added two hits each and Short drove in three runs.

In Rocky Mount, junior David Webster threw a one-hitter to help Franklin County shut out Cave Spring 3-0 in a Roanoke Valley District game.
Webster (1-1) had eight strikeouts and gave up his only hit to Josh Salmon in the second inning.
Chad Foutz and Clay Bailey had two hits and an RBI each for the Eagles (4-2, 2-0).
Scott Lynch drove in Franklin County's other run.
Cave Spring dropped to 2-3, 1-1.
In Radford, Shannon Gray was 3-for-4 with two doubles as William Byrd (4-0) beat Radford 9-4 in a non-district game. Mike McGregor was the winning pitcher. The Bobcats, who dropped to 1-7, were led by Ryan Brittle's three hits.
Nick Gibson, Jacob Hambrick and Mark Freeland combined to pitch a three-hitter as Northside (4-1-1) edged Blacksburg 5-3 in a non-district game.
Shane Whisnant was 2-2 with two runs scored, and John Doss was 1-for-1 with two RBI and stole four bases for Northside.
\ BOYS' SOCCER: Dominic Basile's goal with 10 minutes remaining gave host North Cross a 1-1 tie with defending Group AA state champion Blacksburg.
The Indians took a 1-0 lead when Jon Freeman scored with 20 minutes remaining in the game. Blacksburg goalie Ben Pinkerton stopped a breakaway by the Raiders' Rye Moore in overtime to preserve the tie. Both teams are 3-0-1.
In Daleville, Jamie Bednarek had three goals to lead the Cavaliers to a 7-1 victory over county rival James River. Isaac Minnis scored the lone goal for James River (0-3). Lord Botetourt is 2-0.
In Wytheville, Jeff Bourne scored four goals as George Wythe (2-1) whipped Glenvar 8-0 in a non-district game.
